My Services

As a Birth Doula, I pride myself in providing you and your partner with care, understanding, information, and support before, during, and after the birthing process. I offer my services to all mothers and all families with all birth plans. I will assist your birth at home, at a birthing center, or at a hospital; I assist natural births, medicated births, scheduled inductions, and scheduled cesarean sections.

As a Postpartum Doula, I also pride myself in providing you and your partner with care, understanding, information, and support during the first 3 months following delivery, deemed the "fourth trimester." I offer my services to all mothers and all families with all parenting styles. I will support your family decisions without judgment and will provide educational materials without bias.

It is important for me to tailor my services to your preferences, hopes, and desires for your birth day and/or postpartum period. This is done through a consultation. This is the first step in hiring me for any services. More information on consultations may be found here.

Birth Services

Price: $550-$600

Having a birth doula includes a consultation to get to know each other, prenatal visit(s) to prepare for your birth, support during your labor, and postpartum visit(s). I will be on-call for you 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your due date.

Prenatal Visits

Prepare for Birth Day!

At a prenatal visit, I will meet with you and your partner to discuss your birth plan. These meetings typically take place in your own home so that there is space, privacy, and comfort. We will go over what your desires are, who you want to be an active part of your labor, different techniques you'd like to use, and how a few techniques work and feel. We will discuss how labor will start and progress and when you need to contact me and your doctor or midwife. My goal leaving a prenatal is to have you as confident and ready for your labor as you can be.

Labor Support

It's Birth Day!

My support for you during labor will begin the moment you begin to feel what you think might be contractions. We will work together to determine if you're in early labor or active labor. I will join you when labor has progressed to the point in which we decided you'd like me to join you. Once with you, I will work with you and your partner to find the best positions, massages, breathing techniques, and other comfort measures to help you through contractions. I will not speak to your provider on your behalf, but I can help you with understanding procedures so you can ask the right questions to make the best decisions for you and your family.

Giving birth is a major event in one's life. It is just as important to have support after delivery as it is during labor. In a postpartum visit, I will check on you and your new family. I will address any concerns you may have and give referrals as needed. I may also offer to watch your baby and any other littles so that you may have a little time for yourself for a nap, shower, a quiet meal, etc. I may also help with household chores if needed. The goal of a postpartum visit is to alleviate some of the stress that may be weighing on your mind and body since returning home.

Postpartum Services

Price: $30 / Hour

Having a postpartum doula includes a consultation, a prenatal visit, and continued postpartum support. You can choose from pre-set packages, or choose your own schedule for your needs. You may choose 1 of 3 different four hour shifts a day, 1-3 days a week, for as many as 12 weeks postpartum. See below for shift and day options.

Prenatal Visits

Preparing for your Fourth Trimester!

After deciding you would like me as your postpartum doula, we will discuss further your parenting style and how I can best support you. We will discuss basics in our consultation, but the prenatal will go into specifics on how you want your house to run after you bring your precious baby(ies) home. This is a good time for me to provide educational materials to you about anything you haven't decided yet, for example breastfeeding, bed sharing, baby wearing, schedule versus routine, etc. My goal leaving a prenatal is to help you feel confident in yourselves when bringing your baby home.

Postpartum Support

Caring for Mom, Baby, and the Family!

During our time together, I will be there to support you, your partner, and other family members in simply living life with your new baby. This support includes caring for you physically and emotionally, providing education, anticipating your needs before you may even be aware you need them, and giving you references and resources as needed. I help you with everything from breastfeeding support, prepping bottles, holding baby so you can sleep or shower, giving guests a list of things to do around the house, showing your partner ways he/she can bond with baby, getting you out of the house for some fresh air, etc. My job is to leave you at the end of our contract well educated and confident in caring for your precious child(ren) day in and day out.

Schedule

Your booking options!

When hiring me as your postpartum doula, we will set a schedule that consists of times of the day, days of the week, and number of weeks you will need. I do not work beyond 12 weeks postpartum. I typically recommend only 1 shift per day, no matter how many days a week, but exceptions may be made. Below are the shifts and the days I offer to my clients. Contracts may be extended. I offer preset packages if you are unsure of what you might need, but price per hour remains the same, whether you choose a package or your own schedule.
